I keep saying yes Jordan was one of one

But

He had the perfect storm

Len bias dead … he was gonna have Boston damn near fully loaded with bird somewhat upright for a few years

The pistons on fumes zeke got hurt

Malone was pretty much the only scorer

Mitch in purgatory

No other real scorer on the knicks blazers Hawks cavs

Expansion teams

Shaw was young Duncan was years away

Plus that bulls team would not be able to stay together money wise any other time

Pippen was dumb as hell taking that lil bit of money

Jordan earned it but damn it wasn’t super hard
Wasn’t hard, it was improbable that’s y MJ the goat

I don’t know if I would go that far to say he can’t be the face of the league. He’s just annoying. Highly motivated to bark at and get rid of the legends.

Now twice in a row, once he’s done knocking out the old guys, he disappears against his peers. He shows up for 1 game to not get swept and then he and his team lays down.

Ant just doesn’t work hard enough off the court to make me believe he’s anywhere near a 2nd coming of Kobe and Jordan.

Kobe and Jordan were damn near psychopaths off the court. Their entire lives revolved around working on their game. Teammates and coaches consistently said they were the 1st guys in the gym, and the last guys out of the gym. Have we heard any stories like this about Edwards?

Ya got to stop with this. Nobody in the league is fukking with this OKC defense (Not Tatum, Not Luka, Not Haliburton, Not Brunson, etc).

Even Jokic had three straight mediocre games against this OKC defense in the playoffs.

Antman will be better and he will be fine.
Ant is shooting airballs and scored 18, 16 and 19 in losses. Because dudes double teamed him....?

MJ would've HURT this OKC team, game after game after game.
He also would have NEVER allowed his team to play this soft and weak, ever.

The league got SOFT.
The fans got SOFT.
The bar for greatness is so low, a dude who constantly flops is your MVP.

They tried to legit injure MJ, Kobe, AI back in those days.

Nah. He doesn't get a pass.

The reason ant gets compared to MJ is because their games look similar from an aesthetic POV. That's where the comparison ends. MJ had a deadly mid range game and could beat you multiple ways plus he would play defense. There's a reason he's many people's basketball GOAT. Ant will never be MJ.

As for his playoff failures I can overlook it all and chuck it to him being young and immature still. But Ant gives me vibes of a real nikka...maybe it's just his country ass but his personality along with some offcourt issues does not mesh well for someone to be face of NBA and best player in the NBA. You can be a real nikka in front of the cameras but at some point your game has to back it up otherwise the fans will tear you apart.

A lot of people talking, don’t know ball.

Dude is 23 and in the first few seasons of his career. It's going to take a little time, but he's gonna get there. Easily the most skilled player in the league today. These losses are the lessons. And a lot of the GOAT's in league history had them exactly at this time in their careers.

He'll build the discipline and come back better. Kobe and Mike both went through it early on. You gotta go through that in this game to get pushed properly. Once he grows up, mentally, he's gonna be unstoppable.
