Nah breh my point is a brotha that grew up with a similar background to Ant can’t connect with a lot of stars the same way some white dude in Kansas can’t connect with stars either. NBA got too “black” in the early 2000s so a lot of guys after became npcs to not ruffle feathers

the bolded ties into the picture i was trying to construct... along with it's popularity, in turn the value of basketball increased alongside the required investments... it's less of what people became in response and more of a matter of access and lack thereof

sidenote: there seems to be some sort amnesia about how sterile the personalities of alot stars of yesteryear were themselves... mj magic griffey kobe zeke etc etc etc... and this isnt a critique of them btw. ... there was a range of presentations then as was there was a range now

this need to relate to ant shyt is ridiculous

A lot of people talking, don’t know ball.

Dude is 23 and in the first few seasons of his career. It's going to take a little time, but he's gonna get there. Easily the most skilled player in the league today. These losses are the lessons. And a lot of the GOAT's in league history had them exactly at this time in their careers.

He'll build the discipline and come back better. Kobe and Mike both went through it early on. You gotta go through that in this game to get pushed properly. Once he grows up, mentally, he's gonna be unstoppable.
Lmfao huh? How can u even say this

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
Same ones propped him up for being the “next Jordan”, and calling him the, “son of Jordan” and the “face of the league”, are the same exact ones tearing him down.

Ant never said he was either of those things, NOR did he embrace it. This is on the Coli, TNT, podcasts and dumbass ESPN. He told everyone about the face nonsense, he showed everyone that he wasn’t gonna change his reckless speech and his baby making ways. But nah, people wanna kill him now. :pachaha:

He 23 bruh lol. Also the “face of the league” talk will not matter if different teams are winning the title every year. If you’re not the face of the league after making two conference finals by age 23 then I just don’t know. :yeshrug: Guys be winning rings one year and get absolutely clowned the very next year when they get put out the playoffs. We have to figure out how you even determine who is the face of the league before you try to tell us who it is.

Exactly I understand if dude was 33 and still couldn't get to the NBA Finals
