Ohio State is in good position but somethings would need to happen before they got in.

1. FSU losing
2. 2 or 3 loss bama and miss state
3. Baylor & TCU losing again
4. Oregon and AZ state losing again.

If their battling with 1 loss teams they won't get in because of the v tech loss. But 2 or 3 loss teams they got a shot

IMO, if you look at the complete picture should a team that struggled vs UVA and only got that W because of an injury and 10 sec run off and the timekeeper not stopping the clock 20 secs beforehand, struggled with a Memphis squad, struggled vs Texas, beat by Utah, struggled vs Cal, needed double OT to beat Colorado, there's no way you can tell me that that team is worthy of being considered a quality W and being ranked #12, Not buying it breh. I keep hearing Oregon is worthy and beginning to click because their o-line is healthy. If they lose a game because they were missing their LT, let me see them win a game w/o Mariota. And that's not picking on them but let's at least keep this evaluation of teams balanced across the board when we're using factors other than conference strength as a +/- in the decision process. Think about it, the #6 team had a 56-10 train ran on it on it's homefield after being up 17-6. But it's now considered a quality lost. Again, not buying it

FSU beating a healthy Clemson without Winston gets swept under the rug but whenever Oregon loses to somebody the last 3 years they always make a fukking excuse (Mariota) for them about injuries. Acting like FSU hasn't been injured all fukking season on both sides of the ball.

Alabama and Auburn get a pass everytime they win vs some shyt team with the "gritty win and championship heart" cards but FSU coasts up 25 pts vs Syracuse and FSU is a failure cause they give up a pity TD.

OSU seems to be the new boogeyman because they beat up on an inflated Mich St D leaving out the fact OSU has beat a big pile of nothing since losing to sorry VT. The experts say the loss shouldn't be held against them but FSU WINNING AT NCST by 15 is a bad look.


Lets just have it on a level playing field when comparing teams if they compared all these other squads to the 2013 Noles yall would be looking funny too.

true, in the end an l is a l, but they are different...there are such things as quality losses and bad losses....ex: miss st losing to bama at bama in a close game would be a quality loss; aub losing to tam at home is just a bad loss...

the problem comes in when they to make bad losses look like quality....ex: tcu losing to baylor after leading by 21 in the 4th is a bad loss; ore losing to an unranked zona team at home is a bad loss; aub losing to tam at home is a bad loss...but if you listen to the media, those were quality losses just cause they want to make tcu, ore, and aub look good, which is bullshyt....

...that's why i agree with the op...they setting fsu up to be on the outside looking in even if they go undefeated....cause there is no way ore should be ranked ahead of them....hell, miss st shouldnt be either, but i can understand that one....the way it's going, if bama wins this weekend, we gonna see the bullshyt unfold....they gonna jump bama to 1 or 2, ore gonna be 1 or 2, and then what?....that's already 2 teams ahead of fsu with a loss....miss st not dropping out the top 4, but will they put them ahead of fsu too?.....

Whole heartedly agree with you. Buckeyes are legit. MSU is a legit top 10-12 team and the buckeyes beat the breaks off us (score was not as 'close' as game indicated).
