There are many reasons for the wins - some are winning due to running as a centrist (the actual meaning of the word; not the weaponized version you're using as a pejorative). Look at the Belknap 3 race. The Missouri House district 97 race, and some of the wins in rural and suburban-white areas. Did a pendulum swing contribute to some? Of course. Am I saying we shouldn't run more leftist candidates? Of course not, run them where it makes sense. Just as we've run centrist candidates in the districts of the seats we flipped. That's why it's called a big tent party after all.

I'll go with Russian interference. I was at Homeland security training the other day and one of the speakers who works directly with Senate and Congress and he had no doubt Russia interfered.
