But I agree the ad is annoying as fukk on every page. At least put an ad that relates to the coli, everyone knows what chipotle is and has had it. Put a smaller ad with something that relates with the community and is legit..then bank.

When you buy a domain name and forum software you pay a 3rd party for storage on thier server, for small sites it's ~$10/month, huge sites may get close to $70/month. It's not expensive to run a forum, not even a little bit. Ad revenue is big. The donations from members could cover data storage costs alone, ad revenue is icing on the cake.
Forum websites are cheap to make and maintain.

Didnt know that at all G I run a few ecommerce sites so Im familiar with traffic and all that I believed if it became "big" with any website you need servers but I didnt know high traffic forums were cheap to run.
