It doesn't matter what the average Rican looks like. The average American ain't Black either. In fact, the only countries where the majority of the people are Black are most the countries in Africa and the Caribbean.

Stop moving the goal post breh

I love it.

Irish mix

Italian Mix

Cuban has recently become popular.

Brazilian, which is easy enough considering the demographic.

I don't claim Asian like that, I don't have to people can see it just from my face.

I hate say it but it's suvival mechanism. They probably if figure it make them more attractive to men.

eh just more whiny speeches from negros struggling to be accepted.

What I find mind boggling is how much energy black folks put into giving two fuks what Puerto Ricans and Dominicans consider themselves.

I honestly could not careless if one of them looks like Alek Wek and sees an angelic blonde haired blue eyed soul when they look in the mirror.

It's not my business and not my problem. THey have absolutely no say in how the world is run and therefore is has no bearing on my existence whatsoever.

Why do so many Latinos claim hip hop as there own though?
Born in the South Bronx. Some of the earliest DJs and break dancers were Latino. Either PR or half PR. While I'll never hear any Latino take sole claim to hip hop, it's delusional to think some of the early pioneers were not of Latino origin.

What's the big deal anyway? Hip Hop was a product of all those things. Latin included.

True, but if you are from the US and go to PR it can be quite shocking.

Ricans are nothing more then a black and Spanish mix. The diffrence is they did not have the one drop rule so they denied all the African blood and choose to be Spanish and Indian even the taino Indians died out when the cacs got their.
Yea, them killed all the Arawak and Lucayans from my islands as well. My cuzzin who is darker than me but has curly hair, be claiming indian.

Yes....it does matter because that's was what I was talking about from jump.

Puerto Ricans aren't black and I don't consider them my brothers. That's our problem. Trying to claim everybody. Dominicans......that's one thing, even though they hate themselves. Ricans.....they phased out whatever black genes they had a long time ago.

How did I move the goalpost when this was my very first post in here akhi?

Dominicans still look black or mixed, so its different with them. Ricans don't.

Those Latinos happen to be around blacks.

it was considered the latin hip hop in the mid 80's and breakdancers went nuts over it.

You said Puerto Ricans aren't Black. I showed you some Black Ricans. And you're like "BUT BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT THE AVERAGE RICAN LOOKS LIKE".

Then you went from Black, to adding the "or mixed"

It doesn't matter. That don't mean that there aren't any Black Ricans. Just like America, some are Black, some are White, and some are mixed.

And FYI, most Ricans are mixed. However in PR the statistics are all skewed because they have a One Drop White Rule. Even tan Ricans are considered White down there. But most are mixed.

Hurricanes tore up Freeport a few years back, a lot of homes and land are in flood zones. I have a bunch of land in Long island, and my moms house still in Nassau :rip:.

What would be wise is to sell the land you have and purchase something you like even if on another island, not just cuz the land was in the family means you have to use it. I'm selling all my land when I can. Buy a condo...

But back on topic... a lot of early rap was founded off dancehall/reggae/sound systems -- heard this over the years. I believe American blacks can link up easier with Caribbean blacks, it shouldn't be no black on black racism between these groups. But there is.
