MF straight oulined my case infront of a co worker

luckily the co worker was an old black dude who wasnt into all the gossip and shyt.

Funny thing is I grew up with that guy, we were in the same class from age 4-12yrs, used to walk home together every day. My mum knew his mum etc white people are fukked up

Honestly, I can relate...I legit have to force myself to talk during meetings sometimes.

A lot of meetings are pointless and just devolve into people repeating themselves over and over and over, so I kind of tune out and think about other stuff. Forcing myself to participate and appear interested can be pretty draining. Gotta do what you gotta do though.

Every meeting I've ever been in, it's someone teaching us something, so I never say a word cus I'm not interested...

Nah they havnt....I just play my position man.. im more comfortable in smaller groups, like meeting with one supplier at a time.

Society rewards extroverts. People that are outspoken and outgoing make better salesmen, so companies actively encourage and seek extroverts. Meanwhile we get neglected because we only speak what needs to be said sometimes.

Yea but there are other ways to add value at work..like making yourself the go to guy for certain things. But youre right those who speak the most generally get further. Im just not willing to sell out and be somebody im not. And what ive also noticed is that people tend to pay more attention when introverts talk..cos they know whenever you talk you drop a dime.
