So our department was having a meeting with this guy from another company. He wanted to understand how our supply chain works, so we in a team of about 8, im the only black guy, the meeting lasts about an hour with everyone in our team going back and forth with the guy and im just
sitting there like , I said nothing the hol meeting… When the meeting is about to end the guy says “Double Up, one more word out of you and yourre outta here”. Everyone is like

Don't let anyone check you lie a bytch son. Sitting there and not saying anything is something a SLAVE does keep your brain moving & reain information how you feel. I used to think that I was an introvert as well. Nope. I'm just an a$$hole that likes being alone because I do not identify with 99% of the pro introvert posts in these threads.

I also thought that it was rude of cats to tell y'all to get out your bubble but that may be the best advice. It ain't that hard and no need to get the reputation that I'm afraid you already have that's known by all of your co workers. You took the time to post so it must have made you feel a certain way.

Ok, so this guy went out of his way to draw attention to you. Now, he could have done it for a few reasons.
a) to suggest that you don't have the knowledge to be apart of the conversation and belittle you in front of others
b) he has a personal thing with you were it "hey, let me needle this guy a little in front of others to build this idea that he is clueless"
c) just a harmless joke

You already know the answer to which on of these it is...deep down

Now,

Always have a quick retort. One that either

a) shows you can take a joke, while not being offensive
b)one that does the same thing but questions him offensive
c) the serious but not angry retort to suggest he should focus on the task at hand and something about "being more professional"

I really don't understand this type of thing.
I'm introverted as hell but it's nothing for me to talk in front of people or show the ability to contribute and lead in a work environment.
Because I'm not down with most of the bullshytting and small talk people just think I'm really about working hard , but that usually plays in my favor.
