Damn, breh. I'm def an introvert so i feel you, but I learned that you don't want to be mute during meetings. You want to show that you can think on your feet and contribute something. I know it can be uncomfortable so what I do is plan something to say before hand

Actually I'd suggest the OP does pull aGeorge costanza, the move where he said something interesting/funny and then leaves the room/meeting.
Leave on a high note. If you can't leave, then just say that one thing and leave it at that.
I hate meetings more than anyone has ever or ever will hate meetings, but I say at least ONE thing, even if its in addition to another persons comment.

And I hate people telling me "you have to do x,y,z" but I'm telling you, you have to say something in meetings.
I'm headed to the Daley center for a meeting right now about construction contracts. I don't have shyt constructive to say other than "you guys are spending too much money", but my coworkers are presenting that, so I'm just going to congratulate the contractors on securing their bids and leave it at that.
Man I am an introvert myself, this is what you do when you don't have anything to add in meetings just look at whoever's talking and shake your head repeatedly. Half the time I'm not even listening to what they're saying but it works
