I don’t think it is for certain careers. People seem to think just because you go to college you gain all knowledge of the world. That’s not how it works, you go and learn your major.

Exactly

Ppl used to run around calling ppl smart just cuz they went to college.

The absolute failures on geography when they do these street quizzes makes me so sad :francis:

I saw one where people couldn't even name a country starting with the letter U. Couldn't even think United States.

Crazy part is that half these girls probably got "traveler", "wanderlust", or airplane emojis on their social media profiles yet can't locate the Atlantic ocean. Sad shyt. Parents not buying their kids globes anymore :francis:

My son got them all right he's only 11. But lil dude always had a thing for geography

Studious one

I’ve always said that people just go for the degree. Furthermore, you’re not really learning anything so much as you are mainly memorizing shyt. It doesn’t teach you to have an open mind. I remember when I was getting my firstdegree and I was in my psych class and talking to, the student in the class that did very well on all the tests. I was talking to her about some theory or whatever and she looked at me like I had two heads. I said to her I thought you would know this because you do really good on the tests, and she said oh, I just memorized the shyt. That was when I knew I went to college for the wrong reason. I went to college to get a degree yes, but I genuinely love learning . You don’t go to college to learn kids. Even when I was working on my second-degree, I ran into people outside of the classroom that could not talk to you about the subject because they’re weren’t learning/internalizing it. I can still draw from things that I learned in my classes to this day, because I was actually learning, not memorizing. By the time I finished my third°, I was over it, and felt that I had learned enough academically, lol. As far as the video, I’m glad they were no Black people in it. That’s all I have to say about that, in my Forrest Gump voice .
