@Art Barr see? this is what im talking about. This is a huge problem. Whenever somebody brings up the INTENTIONAL MANIPULATION of hiphop you're labeled a "conspiricist". We aren't even aware ourselves that this music is being used against us. We see it as "just entertainment"

Sorry I'm NOT going to let you switch the argument around to something else. We weren't arguing the negative appearance rap has to blacks. No we were arguing if or not rap has negative influences on black youths. Which you totally ran from like a little girl.

Proof to me that violent Hip Hop/Rap is the root of all problems in Black America. Prove to me that non impoverished blacks are influenced by violent rap. I'm waiting(again)...

You're wasting your time and I know I did debating with dude

My post from his other thread. That's how he debate

Im here :smughov:

My predictions for this thread.

OP is going to write long paragraphs to explain his views, then deflect certain questions.

Someone is going to write an even longer paragraph and he will keep referring to that person's post to make his point.

You make good points. I wasn't even middle class, I had dudes cutting crack rock in front of me...telling me how an ounce was $750 and this is back in 1999.

And I told them I can't run with them, and back then I was into rap way more then they was, I was reading Source magazines and everything. There are so many other factors at play before a kid hears his first gangsta rap track.

Exactly... Volent Hip-Hop/Rap is just a reflection of the poverty/violence those rappers come from. Hell that's how rap was created in the first place!!! Drill music is just a reflection of Chicago. I know its not good, but its the cold truth. Without poverty there wouldn't be any drill music or Chief Keefs. Without poverty there wouldn't be any violence, drugs use/selling, lack of education, diseases, broken families, gangs, etc. Which is why I said those things listed are just symptoms of poverty.

This is why guys like Malcolm X and many others like him preached group economics for blacks.

Wow...that's a very weak tactic. I used to fall for it, until I realized it was pseudo-intellectualism.

If someone points out I was wrong with facts and statistics, I would have to have a serious brain dysfunction to use opinion and anecdote to disagree.

He's 15 not 5, that's old enough to have a job and drive a car with another licensed driver.
His behavior at this point is who he is, not on the parents anymore. I know I was drinking and smoking and not listening to my parents at that age too. I even got in a little trouble but I learned from it. matured and turned out okay. Now I'm a cost accountant
He's just at an age where he has to learn things the hard way. Hopefully he has real friends who care about what happens to him and not a bunch people trying to take advantage
Keep in mind dude is trying to be a rapper so some of this is just imagery for the cameras.

Just for the heck of it I'll support my stance even more. This post is just directed towards the general Coli poster. Dancehall just like Hip Hop has its violent songs/artist. Dancehall artist Mavado has song about many violent things.

Why is this? Because Dancehall too is a reflection of poverty. Its a reflection of the ghettos of Jamaica, at least most of the songs by Mavado, Vybz Kartel and others like them. Without poverty there wouldn't be any dancehall.

Hell Blues too was a reflection of blacks in poverty just like Hip Hop was/is.

"I smoked weed, drank, gangbanged at 15, I turned out all right!!"

Gee, I guess everything in the hood is going great and no one should be doing anything to improve the lives of at-risk youth since they will be alright. :troll:

Hey guys this goof @PhonZhi thinks "media propaganda" is the main problem in Black America than poverty. Sorry I don't have time for conspiracy theories, because I'm from the school of Claude Anderson. You're clearing from the school of those pseudo Hotep Youtubers.

None of what you posted at all addressed/refuted what I stated. First you stated Rap causes blacks to do negative things and after losing that argument you on about media propaganda and rap being used to demonize black people. lol! Sorry but black people will ALWAYS be demonized in America. I mean they were freaking demonized PRIOR TO RAP!!!!:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

The rest of you post again is filled with silly, animated, unrealistic and pseudo nonsense. Basically going off track.

You have not thus far explained how middle class blacks have not been influenced by negative rap which was our argument.

Sorry breh, your whole post has been dismantled. And :dead:at the last paragraph. Me and u had no specific argument. You creating this imaginary argument out of thin air tells me that you're running on fumes. Again, go study "media propaganda" as a tool of white supremacy then get back at me. And i have no idea who @Poitier is btw
