Good bye Coli(2014-2020)
no, i would shut everything you said down. Im sure you're saying nothing new that any other poster hasn't said before. Im sure you're saying "its just entertainment", im sure you're saying "white people buy rap and it doesn't affect them the same". Naw, ive shut all that shyt down before. You just need time. You'll see one day that its not cool for rappers to glorify the genocide of your race.

Yet you didnt shut down anything I said, but instead focused on a small irrelevant subject about my age...

I don't care about none of these conspiracy theories about rap being used to make blacks violent. Fact is rap is an entertainment. The root of problems in Black America is lack of a strong ecomonic base and that we're the freaking second poorest group in America! Gangs, violence, drugs, yadadadadada are all just symptoms of that.

Listen here buddy, I been to Atlanta many times. Atlanta which not only has a strong black middle class, but is also home to many "rachet" trap artists. When I stayed in Lithonia Georgia it was a stable mental class town, yet all the youth listened to trap artist and blasted that type of music in their cars. Again middle class black youths. Yet those same youths are going to college and are becoming young entrepreneurs. Why is this? Because those rap artist are ENTERTAINERS, plus those kids understand they the difference between reality and entertainment.

My little brother who lives in Georgia listens to Young Thug a lot, yet he is religious and is apart of a Christian rap group. He knows the freaking difference between reality and entertainment. You haven't shot sh*t down instead avoided, danced around and made excuses for the points given to you.

The rest of your post sounds silly, animated and unrealistic that I understand why some don't take somethings you say seriously.

But this next question isn't for you but the rest of the Coli.

Which is the main problem for black youths in America? Is it...

A. Violent rap music?
B. Lack of strong economic structure/poverty?

@Poitier you can elaborate further for me if you wish....

I went to a one of the best boarding schools in the country and the white kids were drinking and experimenting with drugs around that age as well so I wouldn't make this solely a race or socioeconomic issue -- that type of shyt happens when there is minimal supervision

The gun talk and toting though is what really got me like :why:

This right here is Exhibit A of why you have more maturing to do and REALLY need to read up on "media propaganda". You're looking at rap as simply "rap music" when its so much bigger than that. It needs to be looked at as "media propaganda", a wing of whats known as "systemic oppression". We can list a whole page of "problems for youth in America" We can list the INTENTIONAL pumping of drugs and guns into the black community. We can list redlining, We can list unfair hiring practices, We can list the bombing of Black WallStreet, We can list inadequate educational facilities for blacks, We can list unfair loan practices. We can list the Prison Industrial Complex. We can list harsher jail sentences for blacks. We can go on and on and on all day( are these things "conspiracy theories" too btw?:dead:). But our problem as black people is that we NEVER list "media propaganda" as a tool of white supremacy. We literally sing and dance to music that promotes our own genocide. We call it "just entertainment". "violent rap music" is a form ofmedia propaganda that is being used to help further demonize the image of the black race. Hiphop is controlled by whites and jews. Take a look at the skin color of most of the people in the room:

If Bobby SchMURDA was rapping about uplifting black people he wouldn't have been signed. They WANT us acting like savages and animals. Thats the image that they NEED us projecting out into the world. We are HELPING them in demonizing our own image.
If Fetty Wap rapped about a BLACK Queen instead of a TRAP Queen, he wouldn't have been signed either and receiving awards:

Go watch the vid i posted earlier on "media propaganda"( a wartime tool of white supremacy) then get back at me.

@Art Barr see? this is what im talking about. This is a huge problem. Whenever somebody brings up the INTENTIONAL MANIPULATION of hiphop you're labeled a "conspiricist". We aren't even aware ourselves that this music is being used against us. We see it as "just entertainment"

Once people tell you facts and statistics doesn't matter, you pretty much have to stop arguing with them because they have little to no respect for intellectualism.

Our community would go a lot further if we avoid those types, they will be one-dimensional and won't care about multi-faceted.

Good post. Don't frustrate yourself, dude is not of our kind.

Hey guys this goof @PhonZhi thinks "media propaganda" is the main problem in Black America than poverty. Sorry I don't have time for conspiracy theories, because I'm from the school of Claude Anderson. You're clearing from the school of those pseudo Hotep Youtubers.

None of what you posted at all addressed/refuted what I stated. First you stated Rap causes blacks to do negative things and after losing that argument you on about media propaganda and rap being used to demonize black people. lol! Sorry but black people will ALWAYS be demonized in America. I mean they were freaking demonized PRIOR TO RAP!!!!:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

The rest of you post again is filled with silly, animated, unrealistic and pseudo nonsense. Basically going off track.

You have not thus far explained how middle class blacks have not been influenced by negative rap which was our argument.

Agreed.

Also Somalia is one of the most violent country in Africa. No hoods in America even comes close. But Somalia is also one of the poorest countries in Africa. Poor and starving fisher men in that country make ends meet by robbing ships in the Arabian sea, just like blacks in the hood rob and sell drugs to make ends meet. It all traces back to poverty. A 9th grader would be able to comprehend this...

The violence in Somalia has nothing to do with the Somali youth bumping a Somali version of Chief Keef....

You make good points. I wasn't even middle class, I had dudes cutting crack rock in front of me...telling me how an ounce was $750 and this is back in 1999.

And I told them I can't run with them, and back then I was into rap way more then they was, I was reading Source magazines and everything. There are so many other factors at play before a kid hears his first gangsta rap track.
