I grew up in the worst neighborhood of newark. Im not going to incriminate myself but i grew up rough. Roaches in my crib looking like joes apartment. Family on drugs , saw people get killed in front of me before I could do multiplaction.

Im stronger than my environment and made a personal choice not to be a stat

I am still a apart of the inner black city. I know dudes who smoked their way through jr high to Ivy league schools.

The lil nikka chose to do that because he wanted to. Some people are easily impresonable , but from what I learned growing up in the hood people gon do what they want no matter how good the household is.

My cousin went to one of the best private schools in jersey and decided to become a killer just because he wanted to.

I have no sympathy for self destruction. Dudes in my hood got killed all the time and was doing what he was doing. Then there was dudes getting killed not doing what he was doing

If you display characteristics of intelligence or just being "normal", you're labeled a "lame" or a "suburban nikka". We are a backwards thinking community(as evidenced in this thread). But I was always kind of a nerd.

naw,u wasn't a "nerd". You was a regular kid. MOST black kids are NOT smoking, fukking and sipping lean at 10. Again, there's a stigma to being a "normal" black person. You're either made to believe you're "lame", "nerdy" or just overall "not black enough". Thats why there are so many smart ,young black kids that suppress their own intelligence to appear more "street/hood".
