They really do sound like the people of Germany did 85 years ago with this protecting our jobs and making us strong talk
The jobs they usually reference were leaving before clinton even became president. Those jobs aren't coming back. It's a pipe dream sold to them over and over again by both sides. If they don't want to work in the service industry they need to find a new skill. But that is harder to do than said.
I will say the one industry that NAFTA did end in the US was textiles. At the same time with the bad comes the good which is that a lot of products are cheaper because of trade deals. It allows me to buy that 5 pack of Hanes white tshirts for a few bucks
I'm actually looking forward to TPP because it actually will help my company

He wasn't joking. The only good thing about a Trump win will be the lie of America being a melting pot where people are treated equally and are accepting of dIversity will be finally put to death. MAYBE, THEN BLACK PEOPLE WILL REALIZE THAT WE ARE OUR ONLY ALLIES AND START WORKING TOGETHER. Because if Trump wins we won't have a choice .

At the same time , I don't think people should have this expectation that their job will always be secure, especially as society changes. Globalization and freer trade with things like with NAFTA are expected as travel and movement of goods become easier.
