Marriage was the best thing that happened to me and anybody who puts finances over everything else has missed the whole point to life.

The fact almost every thread on the coli everyday is about women/marriage issues shows how much ya'll really want the thing ya'll claim to hate, but are either afraid to try or have fell into the trap of believing the fear constantly being spread on these subjects. You don't talk about stuff you don't care about. Be followers brehs.

It's a lot of people who speak highly of marriage but a lot of us would rather read and dap the talking points that support where your heart is at and use it as validation for what you CHOOSE to believe.

It's only two options and two only -- either you're with the wrong woman or you're not the right man that you think you are. All these women in the world and nikkas basing all of life around the two raggedy bytches they been with who wasn't shyt -- and the nikkas probably weren't shyt themselves at the time either if they were honest. That's lame nikka mentality.

This country ain't disincentivizing marriage more than any other thing else and even if it is life is what you make it. I'll take struggling with a women that have my back everyday over an extra 10K or whatever that I won't even be able to account for at the end of the year.

Coli should have the age of everyone next to their name. That would reveal a lot.
Yeah I don’t judge people who don’t want families. But these threads should come with disclaimers. “I have never been married but I’m gonna speak on it”. Or “I am unhappily married” or “I am divorced” and of course “I am paying child support”. Lol. Happily married men all say the same things and they don’t wanna accept we happy and cool with our lives lol or that marriage gives us benefits

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
This only applies to broke people :gucci:
When I was single I didn't qualify for a single "income based benefit" so don't know what OP talking about. This sound like some "let's not get married so we can keep the section 8" :dead:

Getting married does offer tax benefits up to a certain limit though.
Correct. It's hard enough qualifying as a single regular person...

The trick is, you gotta lie when you apply. You can't do that if you're married. They got those records.

Why do you need a woman to have your back? Women initiate divorce 70% If it falls apart, you're just in a deeper hole

I guarantee no CEO is ever going to look up your marriage license. Just buy a ring and call her your wife. HR has never asked me for proof of marriage.

Also, you cannot generally claim a married person as a dependent if they file a joint return with their spouse.

Besides, I'm really talking about households with both individuals working. Those are the people getting squeezed in the middle with no government assistance.
Ok bro I want the woman that I’m married to to collect on my social security benefits . as a married couple, you're each eligible to collect your own Social Security benefit or up to 50 percent of your spouse’s benefit, whichever is greater. My mother lives off of my fathers social security who is deceased very comfortably. Better premiums on health care (I know this because I’m married and know the rates otherwise) .. auto and home insurance you can bundle. And if you are someone in the military it doesn’t matter if your wife has a job or not, you still get paid more. I been married 9 years bro. Like it os much cheaper in the long run being married (if you stay married) to a woman rather than shacking up with them. And like others said. A lot of the stuff you are talking about only applies to people are not making a lot of money. Many people don’t qualify for social security alone. Because it’s based off of income. If you don’t love a woman you don’t marry her, but if you love a woman and want children it is much cheaper.
