Dont know what religion is brehs. Just because someone calls something religious or themselves religious doesnt mean it's true. Religion follows a set of rules, and if it's not followed it's not religion.

The difference with religion is that no one follows all the rules and they pick and choose which rules are cool to follow. Like for example mixing linens is an abomination in christianity/Judaism yet I've NEVER IN MY LIFE heard a Christian say they shouldn't mix their cotton with their nylon or any other mix of fabrics

Slavery is acknowledged as an institution that has always existed in humanity due to the inequalities in wealth and power and seeks to minimize the number of people in slavery and outlaws their mistreatment and makes the freedom of slaves one of the greatest virtues.

Before Islam there was no theory of slaves having rights or there being virtue in their freedom.
