Credit system is a huge scam...

It's sole purpose is to stop you from using cash...

Credit leaves a trail so the government can keep tabs on your money...

They know how much you make, how much you spend and what you spend it on...

Cash leaves no trail, if I gave you 1,000 dollars and you spent it on 5 hoes they'd never know you received 1,000 dollars and spent it on 5 hoes...

you might want to do some more research breh, you can benefit so much off of credit in so many ways a cash man wont....do some more research, i used to think like you when i was younger..i am now wiser in this area and benefit greatly from excellent credit...you have leverage in many many benefits

also the reason why goods & services cost more, the merchant is adding that extra 2-8% on his cut.
visa/mc makes billions off fees

If that's the case then I'm definitely using a card. How you look givin him an extra 2-8% by payin him cash?

Man fukk credit lol. I jacked mine up all the hell when I was young... You know how them credit card companies target college students. Seemed way easy to screw my credit up but now that my shyt I’d better, it’s harder to maintain it. I’m at 700 right now.. it either stays there or drops

Some of y'all need to learn how credit works. There are several factors that determine your score. It's not a secret, so just because you don't understand why your score dropped, doesn't make it a scam.

Im not complaining because I dont know how credit works. I dont really pay deep attention to it but I have a basic understanding of how its affected

I think a lot of their criterias are retardes. They want you to have a bunch of accts open and they have to have been open for a bunch of years and you also cant use too much or too little of your credit

Its almost built to make a lot of people go deep in debt

Ive been using my card for everything for a few years but then it fukks me cause my utilization's too high. Thats why I wanna get a second card to spread the shyt out while still putting everything on credit. I applied for Chase Sapphire Reserve but I guess that ones too prestigious so Ill try for a lesser one in a bit
Maybe try getting a CLI on the card you have.

Credit score is based mostly on 2 factors. utilization and payment history. one counts for 30% and the other one for 35%, or both for 35, dont remember. anyways thats a huge chunk of your score. so keeping your rate under 30% and paying on time helps out. age of credit history improves over time but adding new cards messes with the average. inquiries go away after two years but lessen in damage over time. you cant just use up the limit on one card and get another cuz they see that and be like hold up if he cant pay one, how can he pay two. plus its not just credit cards. its like car payments help your credit also. im not sure if mortgages do too but maybe someone else knows. credit definitely not something you wanna fukk up. i been thru that and glad i got my shyt straightened out.

I have been sold on not borrowing money, being debt free and using mainly cash. As I migrate my financial habits in that direction, I find it to be simplistic and makes budgeting easy. I just opened an easy investor account with my credit union and I'd rather add money to that than pay on a credit card. One less company's data to be breached, sold or compromised. Also the borrowing process is so tedious, especially for larger purchases. It's nothing I want to do again.

You're trying to fix your issues with a credit card and the problem is you. You're only supposed to utilize a certain percentage of the credit limit on a monthly basis, from what you're describing you are maintaining a balance close to the card limit. You need to cut back on your use of the card. Maintain a balance that's about 15-20 of the limit and pay it off monthly. For example, if your credit limit is $3000, you shouldn't have a balance more than about $600.

It's a scam? All you gotta do is pay your bills and don't borrow what you won't be able to pay back
It's a little more than that depending on what you're trying to do. I get turned down for some stuff bc I never had a credit card. I always felt if I don't have the money for it I don't need it. I don't want one from seeing so many people get screwed up bc of credit cards. I have 2 financed cars fully paid off and bills rarely ever late. Been trying to force me to get a card for the longest but I'm good on that.

Credit is a huge scam.

It's also a huge contributing factor to the demise of the black community.
Dont paint all of us with that same brush breh. Some of us actually care about our credit and dont over exert ourselves credit wise.

Like a lot blacks folks in the world I fukked a lot of my credit when I was younger.

Thankfully I was able to move past those things and don't owe shyt anymore

a year and half ago my score was in the low 500's. I decided to get a card to help build my score.

Now it's at 659. I only have one card

It's a Capital one card with a 500 dollar limit.

Since then it's been building but i've been stuck at 659 these last few months. I don't use more than 50 bucks on my card to minimize my utilization. I pay it on time every month.

Any help would be gladly appreciated :feedme:
