LaVine does not have a better jumper than Gerald Green at the same age :dead:

Green was borderline retarded though :lupe:

I think a better comparison than Green would be Terrence Ross, super athletic, but can't finish at the rim and relies on his jumper. I think LaVine has a better base for his handle though, Ross got a terrible dribble.

Solid comp. If I'm late lottery I take him but that handle + his slight frame is going to determine how far he goes. He also needs to improve decision making...

Gerald Green was literally looking like a TMac clone

crossing over nikkas
dunking on nikkas
ran baseline caught the pass behind the three point, just splash even with a hand in his face

Norfeast groovin…
He's going to need to gain weight big time, he had a lot of trouble finishing at the rim in college because he couldn't absorb contact.

He's a project, but if a team is patient enough and it's the right situation he could end up a star.

You think Kobe could give him the game? Is his mental on that kinda level? :lupe:

idol is Kobe, models his game after Russ, Steph, and Jamal Crawford. I think he'll be fine. Lakers would be idiots to pass him up at 7.

Based off his height and athleticism, he kind of reminds me of Shaun Livingston going into the '04 draft. Only difference is Lavine's jumper is much better than Livingston's.
Lavine is much more athletic, much more of a scorer's mentality.

Exum is probably more comparable to Livingston.

Seems like he's a gym rat....

He'll be a top 10 pick by the end of the year, and probably a top 5 pick when teams get him in for workouts.

Looks like he can dribble and shoot to me, brehs:sas1: What if he turns into an athletic steph curry type?:ohlawd:
