why? won the Slam Dunk Contest is legendary form.
got corporate sponsors, averaging 24ppg last 10 games and gettin paid millions at age 19..... the fukk was he gonna do at UCLA as a sophomore?
he would have won the slam dunk contest in legendary form whichever year he decided to enter, also would have gotten sponsors (and to be honest, I havent seen him do any corporate ads :beli:)

and would have put up better rookie numbers with more seasoning

also, hes not averaging 24 ppg over his last 10 games :beli:

like I just said above, he could have gone back to school for a year and developed his point guard game ala Curry did at Davidson

irony is, he may have been a top 5 pick like your thread suggests HAD he stayed another year :francis:

Not according to them maths.
Not only did he fudge the numbers, but Zach is putting up those numbers while playing 40 or more minutes a night, with a more than generous green light, losing every game by double digits

Its good to see him playing well in a relative sense, but some context is always helpful

You hyped up Exum though :patrice:

I got fooled by his performance in the 2013 nike hoops summit. he looked like the 2nd best player on the court that day next to wiggins. I thought that was who he was. that lil austrailian nikka played the system well. he hid himself from ever having to show whether that game was a fluke or not. somehow utah was dumb enough to fall for it even after private workouts.

I'll take the L on exum. but alot of other nikkas are also taking that L. he fooled alot of people off one game.

He comes from good money and was playing college ball in LA bruh. He was gonna get his money regardless

Could have vaulted himself up to be a top 5 pick in this draft too

Steph Curry went back to school for a 3rd year and learned how to properly play PG. Look at what that did for his career

Anyways, Tre wasnt talking about $$, he was talking about his development

How do you know that staying an extra year would have helped him? For every Steph Curry or Tim Duncan there's a Marcus Smart out there somewhere. Reason why I use him is becuz, if I'm not mistaken, Smart was projected to go higher after his first year than he did is sophomore year. Did the incident with that dude play a part in that? Sure. But dude was having a decent season in comparison to the great season he had the year before.

Nah, you're right, you never know. He definitely didn't make a poor decision coming out

Not sure if your being facetious but....

Truthfully, I just don't care for projections like that.

There's plenty of dudes that could have learned from staying an extra year. But something made them come out.

he made the right decision to come out, and in retrospect, the lakers were dumb as fukk to not take him at 7. And steve alford would've stunted his development; there was no way he was going to get better at the 1 or 2 being coached by him and watching bryce fukking alford get all the run at point.
