This era bout to become the second best next to the 90s tbh.

lol where are the future GOATs from this era?

yes it is

there's something for everyone

quality from all corners of the world

the music is at it's artistic peak

but some of these coli :flabbynsick: posters think it aint poppin in the streets so

No doubt Kendrick and Drake. Maybe J Cole if he tries good on his new album.

We're only into 2013. There may be more along the rest of this decade.

What I like about this era:

- Gucci Mane
- Drake
- Future
- Chief Keef, Lil' Reese and Fredo Santana
- Kendrick Lamar
- J. Cole

What I don't like:

- NY hip hop is :flabbynsick: and has lost its soul... NY :flabbynsick: rappers tryin to sell their music to the south crowd n forgettin' bout us ny nikkaz :to:

- I think rap is lackin a new superstar... I know Drake is pretty big right now nh, but I feel like the last nikka to do it really big for rap was Lil' Wayne...

- There's no competitiveness it seems... its like everybody tryina be cool with each other... It seems like 50 done changed the game up, and nobody wants to be like him...

From 2010 to now. We been having a lot of variety of music. Best Productipn. Internet allows for the people to decide who they need with, free mixtapes that are some classics.

no there isn't. where can i hear gangsta rap made in 2013? Oh yeah i cant, i have to listen to old albums

and if deliberately trying to be diff from every other artist and make yourself look like a hipster is being "artistic" then okay :wow:

Sound quality is great, beats are average, lyrics are garbage, style is homo:thumbsdown:.
Hip hop needs a revolution

Sound quality is actually loud and thin...Analog>>>>>>>>>Digital...beats are hit or miss, lyrics in the mainstream are garbage and the music rely too much on the 808 for foundation while disregarding the mid and the mainstream Industry Pop Rap fashion style is designed to feminise the young black male:scusthov::sadcam:

But if Hip Hop can come out of this horsesh!t, we can come full circle and reinvent ourselves without the power elite and it's gatekeepers latchin/leeechin on:damn:

the scene was so awful before 2010 that this is sort of a Golden Era IMO i remember the dark ages of '06 '07 & '08 :snoop:

That's because this era is 90's lite... All the best doing it right now were brought up on 90's rap... Fear the generation that grew up on crunk n ringtone rap :scusthov:
