Are you serious? To make a point I'll go to extremes... when you go to the local gym do you think youd be better off playing with folks near your talent level or a court full of six foot eight d leaguers? Playing against better comp doesn't help if youre not ready.

The coaches and trainers are better

The competition is better

Big men can actually improve a lot in college.
