It is relevant. Getting a deal with a major cable company is a big deal. They're not streaming it on some app, twitch, YouTube, etc. Not some channel that people never heard or probably don't have but TNT. Not saying that AEW is going to hurt WWE like WCW did from 1996-early 1998 but this is major.

Based on what he said about his contract, it's well above what Vince offered. Plus with it being a 3 year deal and being able to work NJPW, I don't think he's in a rush to go back to Vince/HHH/Steph anytime soon.

this shyt could get cancelled in a year. all these people involved are doing alot of chest beating without even having the first actual tv show broadcast. Alot of shyt can happen real fast. WWE is built to handle shyt like Enzo being accused of rape, or serious lawsuits. Can AEW handle something like that? What happens if Kenny Omega blows his knee out on Double or Nothing and he's out for a year? You going to bank on Hangman Page carry shyt?

Jericho silly for gassing up people and talking about a war. Especially considering he's basically already made all his wrestling money and he's well into the twilight of his career so he don't need this like all the younger guys need this.

They need to just be happy they have made it this far. Focus on making AEW the best show it can be and stop trying to compete with WWE.
