if Sting signs to the WWE here is how yahoo would have it played out......
Here are three possible angles, generated from a single theme, involving Sting and the WWE:
What Have You Done To Wrestling?
It's announced that Sting will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5 of this year.
Sting takes the stage to give his speech, stops halfway through, looks up at the puzzled fans and delivers a bitter, unscripted public undressing of Vince McMahon.
"What have you done to wrestling? You've destroyed an entire sport, made it into a joke…put some really good people out of work…just because you could and because your ego wouldn't allow you to co-exist with anyone else. This ceremony is all about legacies and the fans know mine. But you? Lying, cheating, stealing…that's your legacy, McMahon!"
An enraged Sting uproots the podium and storms off the stage as the crew struggles to get the show back together.
The next day, the lights go out during the final part of the Wrestlemania 30 main event. When the lights come back on Sting is mid-ring laying waste to both competitors with a baseball bat. Wrestlemania goes off the air with the image of Sting defiantly holding the bat above his head with the look of ice cold murder in his eyes.
This would ignite a long, bitter feud between Sting and Vince McMahon that could rival the Steve Austin-McMahon feud in terms of nastiness.
Traitors Among Us
As the Sting-McMahon feud rages on, Sting forms a WCW alliance within the WWE consisting of Ric Flair, The Big Show, and Booker T.
This group of WCW rebels seems forever one step ahead of McMahon and his crew, racking up victories and dishing out embarrassing beatings to the WWE regulars. Eventually, it's revealed that the secret mastermind behind this group is none other than the recently fired Jim Ross, who knows his ex-boss so intimately that he can anticipate his every move.
The feud rages on through several months and several pay-per-views with Sting and his faction growing in power and momentum while still retaining the idea that they are some sort of freedom fighters working to exact revenge on McMahon for his crimes against wrestling.
The Undertaker Cometh
With his back against the wall, McMahon reaches out to The Undertaker, who at first seems cold to the idea of taking up arms against men who have done nothing to him. He even intimates that maybe McMahon has this comeuppance coming to him.
Later, as Sting and his crew go too far in disrupting a ceremony to honor WWE legends in attendance on a Monday Night Raw, the Undertaker makes his appearance and takes the first shot in the Sting-Undertaker feud.
Ultimately, Sting's run on the WWE main stage ends with a thrilling Hell in a Cell loss to The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31.
Months later, Sting can be brought back for a brief run as a face so he can finish his career as the fan favorite he deserves to be and maybe even have a second run at being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
