That's my concern.
Sting doesn't have the greatest mic skills, his look isn't what it used to be, his in ring performance isn't what it used to be...
Undertaker vs. Sting probably would not be a strong match.
And if they were to team, I don't have a lot of confidence in the writing team giving us a good story to have the crowd as engaged as they should be.
I'd love to be wrong.

How many of us expected Rock vs Hogan to be a good? or HBK vs HHH @ Summerslam after Shawns hiatus? Or Foley vs Edge or Orton and he was the definition of flabby n sick

Unfortunately, all of their matches were terrible.
Sting on the mic would be top 5 in the E right now.
I think Sting will still get a big pop if and when he shows up in the E, but can you imagine if he showed up anytime between '01-'04?

Never seen a wrestler whose promo skills are so much up for debate. People range from really liking his mic work to really hating it.
It's a different style and it's not for everybody I guess. As a babyface talker I think he's effective. But it's pretty clear he was more over than ever when he didn't speak at all, and I suspect he'll be quiet and mysterious if he's booked with Taker.

Rey is a legit draw and those WCW guys ALL HAD to go through some bullshyt. Goldberg was rocking wigs, Booker was feuding with Edge over Shampoo, Flair was a errand boy for Cripple H for 3 years...
Well there was alot of factors..the storyline was that WCW didn't trust him. So he became gothic level and didn't speak to no one and whooped everyone's ass when it came to the saves..his apperances meant something. They don't know how to book like that anymore..not even close.
