Not when you become someone's mother. I have a girlfriend who was 2 kids in the game around this chick's age. She received all of the same government "benefits" but she worked in a daycare center so her hours were a little more steady but pay was just as bad. Took a class for free on becoming a licensed childcare provider at a community college. Started doing daycare in her house and then went on to open her own center and now opening a second one.I do too breh. But this chick isn't stupid or helpless. She's just not mature enough to make smart decisions yet.

I know plenty of people who went to college and ain't doing shyt in life. College isn't the defacto end all to poverty; especially for black folk who most likely will be working in a system of white supremacy

how do you equate the two? i don't like the for profit diploma mills, but your local community college and state universities aren't beneficiaries of what amounts to corporate welfare (and they get the largest % of pell grant dollars). my point was every $1 extra she gets from mcdonald's is $1 less she gets in benefits, that's why i'm for livable wages. now with pell grant every $1 less a poor student gets is $1 less who gets? a university? it's $1 more that the poor student has to come up with though. and if that student does the right things with that pell grant money they will become a real federal taxpayer and rinse, repeat.You do realize pell grants and government loans is the same distribution of wealth as you spoke of above right?
