That's why I look at people that say places like New York and LA are the places to be like. :stopitslime:

I don't give a shyt about how do dope the nightlife is; however, aspects such as standard of living do matter to me.

Where I live, $1,200 is a mortgage on a decent 3 bedroom 1 bath home in a solid neighborhood, but in New York and Cali that's barely getting you a little small studio apartment.

I remember when my wife and I were looking at homes before we purchased the one we live in, a nice front and back yard, with a 2-3 car garage and at least 3-4 bedrooms were things we were not compromising on.

We ended up exceeding our expectations and even getting a house with a swimming pool. Same home we live in here would run 3-4 million in Cali for example.

I've seen the joints out there that go for like $500,000 and they look like the rent houses we we bought for about 40-50K here.

I keep telling folks to start building a new city that way you ain't gotta go to New York, ATL, etc

Meanwhile I'm trying to buy a big ass house with a garage, basement, and backyard. Hardwood floors, exposed brick, fireplace:noah:

Even worse.

To put that in perspective, $2,200 where I am will get you a nice 4-5 bedroom 3-4 bathroom home, 3,000-4,000 heated square footage in a nice neighborhood, with a 2-3 car garage, with a swimming pool, and depending on the location maybe even a couple acres of property.

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
How about live in Oakland and drive over.

Just my Southern take on things.
Prices in Oakland are just as ugly..
A lot of my friends back home are moving to Sac..
Modesto:hhh:
Fresno:picard:
Stockton:mjtf:
Even Vallejo/Richmond seeing surges in pricing:mjtf:
So it’s inevitable for those places to start raising rent because of so many people being forced out of SF/Oak

Tell us how we can get associated with these wealthy foreigners that own these properties
:stopitslime:

Your doing the phony outrage thing and u looking fake right now.

Thats not what OP was complaining about. OP was complaining about prison pod looking apartments in "urban" areas. But the video shows that the apartments are in hipster areas. OP threw that "urban" lie in the mix because he's a fraud trying to stir emotions. If they are making pod apartments in hipster areas what the fukk is the problem? There is no problem. I n fact it sounds like the type of hustle you'd wanna get in on. Thats the point that I was trying to make.

What lures people to these cities is more opportunities and better pay...

A job that pays 50k a year in some bum fukk fly over state pays 80k-100k in NY especially tech jobs...

That said what these people overlook is due to cost of living actually things even out and in the long term the former option is better...

$1200 a month in that bum fukk fly over state is a mortgage on a 3 bedroom house which $50k can pay off without living paycheck to paycheck...

In NY and SF you paying $1200 a month in rent to live in a fukking prison pod to avoid the paycheck to paycheck life...
