Man, Timbaland/Missy, Neptunes, Mike Will, Kanye, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Boi-1da, 40, etc. have done so much for pop music's sound that's still relevant today.

Almost all the low filter, downsampled pop that took over was from the Toronto sound 40 and Boi-1da came up with. Where would Billie Eilish's sound be without them two doing what they did?

But yup, it's like folks never mention these people.

I still haven't seen anybody mention how Sounwave has credits on Taylor Swift's recent album.

Also people rarely mention Rami Yacoub when someone brings up Max Martin although they've been working together since 1998 (around Britney Spears' debut).
