This is the real reason why the US wants to ban TikTok. A thread of videos that young people are watching and sharing by the millions

Not really, it’s created the capability for the highest quality of life IF YOU CAN AFFORD it. The thing is we should probably live in a mixed economic model, creating balance, because the nature of most men is to basically abuse whatever system is running into the ground and skew inequality. Capitalism is great, it incentivizes innovation, but you’d have to be dense to ignore the fact most people are still broke-poor and struggling.
The lower class in America has more access to wealth than the middle class in communist China or any other non capitalist country

Do you think communism or socialism has produced better outcomes for their lower class?

We always say this, but is it actually true? The richest guy in the world today stole every single one of "his inventions." :jbhmm:
It is true, in a free market, getting paid through a service or product you make, or someone else made, is quite efficient an beneficial to an individual. You can either take the reigns of your finances yourself with what you produce or take Advantage of what someone else made to do so. The problems mainly start to happen with corporations developing monopolies and being allowed to buy the government essentially because they want to create basically an infinite loop between the two and cutting us out.

I think the thing most people don’t want to talk about though, is that arguably we had a better quality of life before empires were created. When all the tribes and people on earth were mostly living in their own domains in natural settings, that was probably as pure as the food, people, and environments could be, but we gotten so greedy and obsessed with money we think being able to buy anything you want vs build or catch anything you want is superior.

There’s still LOWER class, meaning they are still beneath people, they’re poor, they’re struggling, they are suffering. You literally just said they have lower worth than other people, that’s what that title means.

Also china is capitalist as fukk when they want to be, you can’t grow their economy the way they did with no capitalism, how else you think they can create so many of our products and steal our ip

You not understanding my point, it doesn’t matter what economic model works, because none of them do with the kind of leaders we have in charge. Every country is either billions or trillions of dollars in debt, so nothing is working no matter how much we argue over it

Your argument is that nothing is perfect so we should live in tribes?:russ:

Nope you’re still not understanding.

Don’t look at what I’m saying from the stand point of debate/argument

See how people treat each other in this country, how our government treats us, and then ask yourself, what is all this economic success worth when there is so much chaos and turmoil? Just have a moment of empathy.

Post on TikTok, from a capitalist internet service/phone provider...paid by working for capitalist companies, concurrently paying taxes into a imperialist war machine.

Throw on some thrift shop jewelry, don't wash your purple locs for two days and overdose on CDB gummies before you film and you're a modern day visionary that's smarter than billions of intelligent minds before you.

Capitalism would get no complaints if wages kept up with inflation, and companies weren’t engaged in corporate welfare. Corporations just have too much power in our system. I believe in capitalism, but our version of capitalism is unfair.

The trends are pushing us to a second gilded age. People don't understand that America was almost on the cusp of a civil war. Bolshevism was popular in the early 1930s because the amount of wealth inequality was MASSIVE. People had no sense of a future or hope so you had a lot of people basically just saying "I could either die sick and starving on the street or go out guns blazing"

That's where we are headed. Don't be shocked if the school shooters stop targeting their peers and start targeting bosses and landlords. Don't be shocked if workers who were laid off pull up to the fulfillment centre and start blasting.

They irony of unrestrained capitalism is that it creates the very conditions that destroyed it. The reason communism didn't take off was because of the new deal. If FDR and his team hadnt put together new projects to hire these out of work people and pass regulations on wall st, people would have been even more aggressive. There's a reason why a lot of history around labor and stuff like how we got the 5 day work week isn't taught in school. There's a reason why a lot of America's skeletons aren't exposed. It's the same reason why parents don't want the "woke agenda"[complete history including context] in schools. They don't want the myth of America as the perfect country that's been on the right side of history all the time broken.

If you can't admit your short comings, If you aren't even willing to discuss them, how can you improve?
