yea but that could be a problem. the booth is so popular its easy to get lost in the shuffle.
The Lounge should be more active. It's a bit unfortunate that it's not. There's a lot of good music being posted there, but not enough people to get the conversations really going.
To be honest, R and B been a niche genre for ages. Folks nowadays look at the shyt for more raunchier R Kelly/Jodeci type of music, but fail to embrace the romantic stuff that comes out of the genre. The Longue would be popular to a demographic of 25 and up, but not so much the younger generation. Even folks such as myself don't really bother to post in The Lounge due to the community being in the closet when it comes down to different types of music. When I do post in that place, it's mainly for the Lo-Fi Jazz instrumental thread
Maybe that's why I can appreciate what The Lounge is about. I'm 27 and am into different sounds and discovering different kinds of music, even though I mostly listen to R&B. The Lounge is cool for what it is and there are good discussions that I've seen in this section during my short time here.

The point is: why post RnB in a rap forum? And you're saying there should be more RnB
I'm a hip hop fan. I don't give a fukk about RnB for the most part. I'm not gonna walk into an RnB forum and start posting a bunch of hip hop songs. If there isn't a space for RnB around these parts, the mods should get on their job and create one. I'm sure you're not the only RnB lover in The Booth.
The Lounge is like 'zen' for me when I want to look at something different than the normal Rap discussions. It's good to fall back on at times.
No doubt, I'll try to contribute more in The Longue since I like to explore Bandcamp and Soundcloud. Seriously, I know there's folks that appreciate more than just hip hop, but don't want to pony up on the discussion over there because of "reasons"

If you don't "give a fukk" about R&B then you have the option of posting in your normal rap based threads and ignoring the R&B discussions you don't like. It's not like you have don't have options lol.
I think an R&B section would be great in the future. But for now, we gotta work with what we got.
