Real estate problems are interesting in Toronto because they actually build a lot of high density housing. Driving on that main highway you see nothing but cranes building new tenements. First time I went to Toronto I thought it looked kind of "soviet" due to all the drab highrise apts you can see from the highway
Proves that increasing density isn't the easy solution you see a lot of people act like it is (NYC should have already dispelled that notion honestly)
