So now since Kobe has one MVP's don't matter? :dead:

Last time I checked MVP's showed more individual greatness than rings. Considering rings are a team accomplishment. But ok
So according to you Steve Nash is one of the greatest of all time and individually better than shaq?

Tim Duncan is probably top 5 overall. He's always been an offensive/defensive beast. He's a great player late into his career unlike Kobe. Kobe stopped playing defense years ago. ON offense he's a ballstopper.

Tim Duncan needs to be compared to Kareem, Wilt, Jordan, not Kobe.

Real talk, what year was Kobe ever the undisputed best player in the league?
Majority of NBA fans, analysts, GMs, past and former players had Kobe as the best player in the league in 05-06 and 06-07. It wasn't like how Jordan had the title in the 90's and Lebron has it now, but Kobe was still regarded as the best player those 2 years.

Typically Chuckee stans talking about scoring.

Why is it never passing? Or defense? Why is it always chucking up shots and scoring?
becuz thats what he does. :what:

as a Laker fan, i never felt the need to defend him when people bring up shyt like this. i know what he does. he scores the fukkin' ball and occasionally plays defense. but ultimately, he scores the ball. if that doesn't make him the GOAT, oh well. someone else can be the GOAT. he's still my favorite player of all time.

Amazing y'all say Duncan's a great player late into his career unlike Kobe, but since 2010, Duncan's only putting up 15.9 ppg, 9.4 rebs, 2.7 apg and 1.9 blks with a 49.5 eFG% compared to Kobe's 26.7 ppg, 5.3 rebs, 5.1 apg, and 1.3 spg with a 48.5 eFG%.

Somehow in your deranged mind, Duncan's been a great player while Kobe hasn't, even though Kobe has the better numbers of the 2 over the last 5 seasons up until this point:mindblown:

Kobe was the best player from 2006 to 2010. None of you LeBron nikkas was talking that "Bron is the best in the league" sh*t four years ago. And if you were, you got quiet as hell around May :mjpls: when Bron got eliminated, all you nikkas quickly closed out your SOHH account and didn't come back until July or August :lolbron: Your memory is probably a bit hazy though, this was before yall were Heat fans :troll:

Let's be serious. Shaq doesn't have multiple MVPs because he slacked during the regular season and didn't keep his body good during the off season. He pretty much coasted back onto game shape until he got dominant in the playoffs. Healthy Shaq was, by far the most dominant and best player around in his prime. But he was notorious for coming into the season out of shape.

Kobe was the best player in the league in 05 and 06. His team was garbage but he was still The most unstoppable scorer around. That being said, Kobe's was never as dominant a player as Shaq, Jordan, Lebron, etc but Kobe's longevity and consistency cannot be denied.

Duncan's ability and affect on the game go beyond box scores. Duncan is a GOAT level defensive anchor with the likes of Russel. Kobe's intangibles in scoring that don't show up on box scores (versatility, confidence, etc) can be compared to what Duncan does for defense.

Being Shaq's sidekick is not a knock on Kobe. He was still one of the best players in the league but Shaq was just that good. But people also need to stop comparing the Shaq that 3-peat to the Shaq that Wade and Bron played with. They aren't even in the same tier of ability.
