Second NBA will be better then the NHL, NHL second round outside of the Caps Rangers was just boring I stopped watching.


And frankly, hockey fans (especially the white ones) are so insecure its digusting, like that clip. Like you would catch JLova or Reincar say anything like that. Hockey fans always need to bash other sports and its gotten to the point I only watch games with my pops because I don't have any intention of sitting in a stadium with "fans" who supposedly hate those ******s in the NBA and NFL but can name all the good players in each league.

Another problem is white hockey fans calling NBA players thugs, then saying they aren't racist. This rubs me the wrong way. Just a subliminal shot at our culture, and they wonder why many black are not interested or care enough. It's funny, though, with all the people getting hurt and crosby and his saga, Less Kids are signing up. Soccer is the number 1 kids sport now, and will stay that way until hockey deals with concussions and the expensiveness of the game.

The sports channels/coverage (tsn, sportsnet) are a serious problem. Not only with hockey, but curling, poker, racing. shyt I've even seen darts on TV when the NBA could've easily replaced it on one of the "big" sport networks.

Most Canadians (especially white or unathletic) talk/look down on the NBA. And they do it with a low key, and borderline racist tone.

Most of them claim to not even watch basketball yet when the Decision came on, a lot of :cac:s and they :cac: friends and relatives acted like Lebron was a terrorist....
Those the same :cac:s that hated on Kobe for "wanting to lead his own team without Shaq" (most didnt know the details surrounding the feud).

Reincar will dispute this but I don't care, Canada is a terrible sports country, we do shyt all at the Olympic games, oh we won at hockey in the winters, who cares, only 11 or 12 countries at the most. How about Canada does something at the olympics that count?? Canada is just not a sports country like the US or UK or even Australia

Basketball courts just be poppin' up all over these days...shyt, you can see it in the amount of Canadians playing NCAA D1 ball nowadays that are actually GOOD. That kid Kevin Pangos in Gonzaga is from a small town north of Toronto...and if they playing ball out there now...shyt hockey has about 50 years left of dominance in Canada...them old white dudes better get used to it...and now that blacks are making more money up here, you gonna see more blacks in the NHL too (and probably more monkey comments and bananas thrown onto the ice and shyt like that)...

...it's a shame, too, cuz growing up, I used to love hockey, but all the undercover racism in the sport and many of its fans turned me off of it by high school...

They've been especially doing this lately with all the young blacks making it in pro hockey like PK Subban. I've read CAC reporters talking about how they don't want hip-hop culture to "destroy" hockey like the NBA and NFL.

I played hockey as a kid and was exposed to alot of cism. Hockey is way behind other sports when it comes to race relations.

I disagree with hockey having only 50 years of dominance though, it's too ingrained in the culture to ever slip.
