Yeah people think that's what goes to their bank accounts, but it's not. Benzos network is $1 billion, but that doesn't mean he has a billion dollar pay check.

If I own 4 $250k houses my net worth is $1 million, but those tenants only giving me $6000/month
Na Bezos got actual sweat equity

Breh in most jobs working harder justifies higher pay. I can tell you never worked in a warehouse. Warehouse work isn't easy by any means. That's why a lot pay $22/hr.
Sure if they are in a high cost of living state, are moving expensive/dangerous materials, or have a good union.

Otherwise they are not getting paid 22/hr to box up and ship regular items.

this nikka thinks he is skilled labor because he moves boxes in an Amazon warehouse and wants to depress the wages on workers he feels are even less skilled. Instead of focusing on the billionaire raping everybody with no Vaseline.

:gucci:

The billionaire isn't "raping" anyone. It's a job. One that he and everyone else who works there voluntarily chose. No one is holding a gun to his head to work there for $16 an hour.

I'm willing to bet 98% of people in this thread shop at Amazon regularly. Enlarging Jeffs pockets but complaining about his business on behalf of people they’ve never met.

I need communists of the coli to come up with a new angle. This ain't it.

Zong shanshan came up something serious :wow:

All due respect to the dinner-with-Jay-Z crowd :lolbron: but I'd rather spend a week shadowing Comrade Zong :whew:

And this is just scratching the surface. This wealth increase is directly tied to the stock market. Even putting the wealthiest aside, the higher wage earners had more money to put in the stock market than lower wage earners and lower wage earners were far more likely to be working jobs that have been halted by the pandemic (restaurants, hotels, service etc). The wealth gap almost certainly saw an explosion over the past year and I feel like nobody is talking about it.

Truth. That's the one drawback of these top ten style lists, they leave out a large part of the picture. A top 250 fills in a lot more blank spaces and gives rise to more/better questions.

I feel you, but unless you're driving a forklift or operating machines or some shyt warehouse work isn't "skilled". Knowing how to use an RF scanner or being really proficient at sorting or packing boxes isn't a skill my brother.

They do at Home Depot, they start off at 22. My brother worked at a Petco and was making $19 pure labor

It’s a skill if you can’t do it under certain circumstances
That’s being able to do the work
A skill is something hard to replicate any able bodied man can pack boxes
The work involved doesn’t matter because the company can churn through as many people as it wants to since they can find another person to do it and teach him in 30 minutes
There are manual labor jobs that involve skills but this isn’t one
