I feel the same way 9th Wonder feels...
Good verse...but people are only reacting to the names being dropped.

VERY , im starting to hate this nikka. I loved him at first, but the way the world is jocking him is making me sick. He is nice, but not THAT nice...is the game that fukked up that a decent B+ lyricist is made into the next Messiah? How can nikkas really think he nicer than Aubrey? Aubrey=GOD

i'm just gonna put that out there. all you nikkas can get into a hissy fit if you want to about it but i'm standing my ground. everybody is drinking the kendrick kool-aid and this shyt is nothing special. i've listened a few times and the only dope shyt about it, is him calling out his peers. that was needed in the game. i respect him for that. but as far as everyone saying this is some kind of lyrical masterpiece....you're caught up in the hype. it's a good verse....but nikkas are ODing. go back and listen and tell me if this is the lyrical supremacy bar that everyone thinks kendrick just lifted....
Bruh, watch the above video and how they break that shyt down. Do u really think that the track was only about droppin namesGame drops a thousand names on his albums and never had the buzzof 1 Kendrick verse. Its deeper than just "name droppin"
Look how hip hop was effected and look how the entire industry responded from 1 verse in a 24 hour period. K Dot was spazzin
The south aren't even worth mentioning. That's what he was getting at.
more namedrops then a Game verse
Jay Elec verse was better![]()
yes and money, verse aint shyt niether is kendrick or his albumsCmon bruh, Game dropps a thousand names every album and gets nowhere near the buzz that Kendricks 1 verse got. You really think that Kendricks hype from this song only came from name droppin?![]()

lol so this is what hip hop has come to...a dude pays homage to a coast and it gets taken as a diss, calls out a bunch of "we are the world" rappers, and grunts out some other nonsense and it is the biggest thing since...
that phil jackson uncoachable line was papoosish...matter fact i bet after kendrick said it papoose went and looked at some of his old rhymebooks like
i guess i'm not a real hip hop head anymore...cause i thought J Elect verse easily shat on Kendrick and Little Sean...![]()
