I've experienced the lowest of the lows and the highest of the highs financially, and can definitively say that money does not equate to happiness. I've actually had some of the most memorable times in my life when I was uncomfortable financially. Now that's not to say that you can't be happy with money. I'm just saying that money and happiness are not mutually exclusive. The only people who have that mind frame are people who've never had money or young people who haven't had a lot of life experience.

But I'm a 21 year old college student so that qualifies me as broke

But I never have to go without because I have a job and I get help from my parents

That's my perspective too. I've seen people in the slums happy and I seen people in the suburbs happy
