Why do these star players have to suffer because the FO office cannot get it right?:why:

The history books will not say in bolded that the FO at the time was Inept:snoop:

It will say Melo could not get it done :to:.

Sure he dropped 62 in the garden.....but who cares?

being on a one man team shows that your FO is sorry and Is not a place where you want to see your prime slip away before you know it your a journey man going from team to team and get a ring as a 10th man somewhere:shaq2:

The days of sitting on a team and have that "WISH FACTOR"....." I wish my team can get me some help but hey at least some poster on the coli respect me:lawd:"

Star players have suffered at the hands of front offices since the beginning of time. This is nothing new. The Lakers, Pistons, Celtics, Spurs, Rockets and Bulls are literally responsible for every other superstar of that generation NOT winning a title up til now

That said, in Melo's case, he has no one to blame but himself.

I feel you on that but now its a crime to want to leave or ask for a trade? Damn and now the say if you are a "real" player you must uplift your teammates to win...but how can you when they are fukk*in cardboard cut outs?:stopitslime:

Oh your saying Melo sould have left and became a FA?.....Lebron did that and some unwritten rule came out how he sould have gave the Cavs a chance to get someone for him:russ:.....Why to gut the team?....then go to a next team he don't want to be with? to leave again?:ohhh:....the more I look at it there is no way out:bryan:.

The days of Mitch richmond growing mold on a bench is over:stopitslime:....And teams and "Fans" need to get over it.....

:manny: Melo could've signed with Knicks in the offseason, but wanted his money and this forced NY to give up some talent. If Melo signed with them outright, they could've traded that talent for some nice pieces to surround him with.

Asking for a trade ain't the crime. Ignoring James Dolan's fukkery in the hopes of being a God in NYC, well, you get what you ask for. It wasn't like Melo was leaving some crappy team that had crappy management that was never gonna get better. The market and money was all that mattered to Melo. Don't cry for him.

I don't even know what else you're rambling about.

James Dolan.......I swear He HAS to be the reason why the superstars of the NBA will not come to NY....it has to be around that he fukks shyt up.....

Maybe Melo wanted to be the "guy to turn the knicks around but now it seems like that will not happen i just want him to end up on a good team...like heaven forbid the Bulls or portland .......I hate seeing wasted talent and Im not saying Melo is not to blame but know when to bounce before its all over

Why does Melo get so many excuses?

He cried his way out of Denver when the FO built a team consisting of Nene, Birdman, Kenyon Martin, JR Smith, Chauncey Billups, and other players around him.

That's a scoring big man, a defensive big man/paint protector, a versatile big who can guard 3-4 and get loose balls and fight inside, a 6th man/2nd option scorer who can create for himself, and a championship-caliber PG who knows how to orchestrate an offense and hit clutch shots.

And he only got out of the 1st round once...

I'll never understand how people will call Dirk a soft player and a choker, but make excuses for Melo til the day they die. At the end of the day they're both offensive savants with no D whatsoever. But one was consistently shyt on his entire career until 2011 and the other gets pleas copped for him nonstop talmbout "THEY DON'T BUILD AROUND HIM!!"

What do Melo apologists want? A top 5 PG, a top 5 SG, a top 5 PF, and a top 5 C around him? Plus, he cried his way out of Denver to get to NYC. He could have stayed, he could have left for NYC in the offseason, or he could have gone to any other team in the offseason. fukk a Melo. He had 2 different teams build around him, and he's been a perennial failure since his 2003 NC.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Melo is at fault for where he's at right now, he forced the Knicks to trade for him so he could get his extension when he could have signed with the Knicks in the offseason. They would have had trade-able pieces to get more talent around him, look at the package that got the Clippers Chris Paul and then compare it to what the Knicks could have offered if he just finished out the season with the Nuggets the Knicks might have been able to trade for Paul or sign him as a FA.

People tend to forget that Melo wanted to play with Stat who was having a amazing season and the knicks jumped the gun, wasted their amnesty on Billups to get the fresh off winning a chip Tyson. They should of waited to see how Stat held up and still coulda made a play at CP3 even after Melo "forced" the Knicks to give away all there assets. Dolan giving away everything falls squarely on the knicks, them nikkas had ALL the leverage...the only team that you could even consider being a threat was the Nets.

This is almost the exact same team YOU NY Knick nikkaz dubbed "Championship Contenders" in the preseason. shyt went bad and Carmelo is the leader of that team. Maybe Carmelo ain't cut to LEAD his team to a Championship Like Dirk Did.
