A lot of nikkas exposing themselves in this thread. Sounding like a bunch of 11 year olds that only know who lebron and Durant are. This is one of the more exciting seasons I've ever seen. There's a higher level of parity this season compared to most seasons, as well as a higher amount of talented players spread amongst the NBA. I mean did nikkas really want to see the same 4-5 teams recycled in the NBA finals every year

I'm cool with parity, but I want parity with superstars, hell all-stars, hell great players. I don't want parity with mediocrity. I want teams that have a genuine 20+ppg scorer.

:comeon:This is quite simply a terrible post. The NBA has always been driven by superstar talent. It's just that such talent was more concentrated in the pre-expansion era, so revisionists get caught up in the "team" mantra. Look at who is/was on the vast majority of those championship squads. The '04 Pistons are the exception, not the rule.

And even they went one-on-one with Sheed, Billups, occasionally Rip and their bench. When they needed a basket, it went to Sheed, or Billups made something happen

I don't mind covering games this season. Interesting to see new teams establish themselves. If you need story lines to keep you engaged in watching basketball, fall back and leave watching hoops to real fans.

As a fan, I just can't enjoy it as much as I would like to for obvious reasons.

I think this will be hands down the best playoffs since the early 00's. West hasn't been this talented in years. Even the East has gotten much better from just last year. All of the stars should be healthy. Curry, Harden, D12, LMA, Thrillard, Klay, Durant, Westbrook, Tim, Parker, M. Gasol, Rondo, Dirk, Monta, Cp3, Blake Griffin, all in the same damn conference. This year new superstars will be born. I haven't been this hype for the playoffs in years, and that's coming from a Rockets fan who knows we have glaring weaknesses for postseason play. Put the homering aside. Accept new greatness. We winning :win:

Me & my mans was talkin about this earlier. He believes that there are no more superstars coming. Well not superstars but "All-time greats". He's saying just accept and enjoy for what it is.

It's not a terrible post. I'd rather see a team that plays together instead of Kobe telling his teammates to get the fukk out of the way so he can go 1 on 5.

the talent level in the league is at an all-time low right now which is why such mediocrity is ruling the day.

if a hawks/warriors finals happen, this might be the first year since 2003 when i don't bother to watch one game of the finals.

This is far...FAR from the truth.

The talent level of the league is catching up from the Heat's formation back in 2010, then was the talent level of the league at an all-time low, they weakened the league. There were very few competitive teams and most of the teams that were consisted of teams that were declining (like the Celtics), not quite developed (like the Thunder) and the best players were still yet to choose their final homes (CP3 was still rotting in New Orleans in the beginning of the LeBron Era). Now, players are starting to catch up, more and more players are playing at an elite level and the stars of the past are beginning to be weeded out. This is the beginning of a new golden era in the NBA.

:childplease: nikka stop.

You tellin me that Steph/Klay, KD/Russ, Cousins, LBJ/Kyrie, Harden, Marc/Z-Bo, Lillard/LMA, Lowry, CP3/Blake, Dirk/Monta, Wall/Beal, AD and Teague/Horford/Millsap are all boring, mediocre players who bring no excitement to the NBA night after night and aren't genuine 20+ PPG scorers? (even if all that I mentioned aren't 20+ PPG players they certainly play like it)

the fukk outta here :camby:

The league is seeing more exciting duels and marquee matchups than it's had since the 90s

edit: Actually the late 2000s had some pretty crazy duels and matchups now that I think about it so I might retract that 90s statement :ehh:

I'm not discounting Miami from winning the East.

Bosh and Wade have been hurt for long stretches. If they can stay healthy, I don't see why they couldn't win.

Breh are you serious right now :snoop:

Heats will be fortunate to MAKE the playoffs, let alone win the East. In a playoff series they'll get 1 or 2 on anybody in the East, but MIA winning 4 outta 7, with that roster? I'd be surprised to see them win more than 2 games max

Bulls vs. Bullets

Memphis vs. Clippers

My ONLY issue with this season, is the fukkin INJURIES. FAR TOO MANY.
2nd one i can maybe give u

But i grew up watching bulls knicks

And knicks heat who threw each other over the camera men every time they played.

Those teams truly hated each other

Todays "rivalries" are just from teams who happen to meet in the playoffs a few times
