Bro, I'm older, live in an apartment but still find projects to do that save myself and the building owner or landlord hundreds or thousands of dollars. When I did have homes I lived in those home improvement stores to save paying someone else to do jobs that I could tackle with the help of YouTube videos. A couple of years ago I rented a hammer to take up the old tiles. The job kicked my azz but I enjoyed the work.
Recently I applied Gila titanium heat resistant film to my sliding glass patio doors and windows.

I work on houses n sht with my gpa. In floor n decor/Lowe’s it’s usually like 2-3 older black men and then the rest are crackas n Mexicans. You’ll see Mexicans n white folk wit they little ones teaching em and preparing em.
