Their games aren't at all similar. Kidd came in the league able to run any offense. Half-court, fast paced - Princeton, post-offense, 3pt-orientated. He'd played in damn near every offense and succeed...and improved the team.
As far as the league is now, the scoring (with 3-4x the 3s being taken) is still relatively comparative to what it was in Kidd's rookie year.

He's a rookies. Rookies have games like this from time to time the problem is it's looks like him being so passive is a major part of his game. I got a lot of flock before the season started saying he's doesn't create for other players he just takes what the defense gives him. It's starting to show itself now.

I think he's not confident in his shot enough, AND as a result, he doesn't want to be embarrased b/c the spotlight on him x100 b/c of Lavar. But he's gonna have to suck it up and deal with whatever happens if he wants to get better.
