My issue is with the mindset of banking on your child to get you out of poverty. This happens to often in the hood.

What about the middle class and upper class parents who send their kids to these world class sports camps to compete. You think they aren't thinking about getting rich off their kids too?

man, i can't even bother with these dudes, they always try to change the argument. instead of focusing on this sick oedipus shyt we've got going on in the black community, where young black boys are forced into a position where they have to provide for momma. they want to turn into not caring for your elderly/sick parents like ANYONE has said that's the problem.

The father provides and establishes the lifestyle for his wife.
Providing a certain lifestyle is not the job of the son.
The son still should by all means help his family out. NO ONE is saying otherwise.
The culture of broke parents having babies in hopes that they become rappers or NBA players is destructive/regressive and goes against the very essence of creating generational wealth.
The parents pass wealth down to the children. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND....




AND YOU CAN STILL HELP YOUR PARENTS OUT AND TAKE CARE OF THEM WHEN THEY NEED YOU.... HOWEVER IT IS NOT YOUR JOB AS THE PROGENY TO PRODUCE, CREATE, SUBSIDIZE NOR PROVIDE A LIFESTYLE FOR YOUR PARENTS.

If you guys had fathers you would realize that that is HIS job. NOT THE CHILD'S. If the man failed to provide a great quality of living for his wife then he FAILED as a husband, as a father and as a MAN. He's a beta male.

Yes, you are supposed to take care of your parents when they can no longer take care of themselves. That's a strawman. No one is saying otherwise.

I can't speak for anyone else but what I'm saying is that the FATHER should subsidized the MOTHER'S lifestyle.... not the son. Don't use your children as lottery tickets. There is a difference between checking up on your parents and helping them out when they need it as opposed to providing your parents a new lifestyle. People are bringing up retirement homes and shyt when the parents being discussed are still able to go to the club and ball out of control because their son gave them 20k to fukk around with for a few weekends. That's not the same as taking care of your parents when they are too old to take care of themselves.

If your parents did the right thing they were established before you were even born. THEY pass wealth down to the CHILD. The child then uses those resources to get a leg up on the world and compete and the resources grow generation after generation.

The system people in this thread are cosigning is parents having babies without resources and then after the child "makes it" the child then provides an entirely new lifestyle for the parents... The husband should provide the lifestyle for the wife.... That is NOT the son's job.

Good point though. You guys aren't co-signing it because you people jumped the fukking gun as to what the point actually was. The bottom line there is people need to know what's being discussed before they start jumping to their generic "you hate black women" arguments.


It's a win win for me. In the slight case that you guys do cosign that system or belief, just know that it's wrong and counterproductive. (Some of the posts here ARE cosigning it btw) And if you just admitted that you don't cosign that system then it looks like a whole lot of people are trying to throw self hate cards out for no fukking reason.

I say for women to make better choices in men, keep their legs closed and keep their weight in check so they can be healthier.
I tell the men to focus on education, networking, understanding entrepreneurship, stay away from gangs, don't have a child before they are established and to be established before they get married.

If I tell black women to keep having babies with the wrong men and tell men to stay in gangs and don't focus on education that means I love blacks.

The "don't talk bad about blacks" position. It doesn't have to make sense. We even have someone in this very thread saying "haha you guys got called ugly by black girls growing up" when it has literally NOTHING to do with the topic. People feel that when anything "black" is attacked that they should defend it, even when they don't even know what the fukk it is they are defending. This same site has people who defend the people who kill each other in the "hoods" on a daily basis yet these same people demonize the people who call the people killing their brothers and sisters out for their destructive behavior.
