i'm look at as being lame.... when 30 and 31 year old nikkas say shyt like " yoo what you doing this weekend.."

and im like " chillin.. w my kids , i might do something hit me up"

They have stuff planned every weekend... Idk how you could even wanna go out every weekend when your 30.
judging people because they are not following your life path, so to speak . Ain't nothing wrong with goin out on the weekends regardless of age. You choose to have children and stay home that's cooltoo.

age is JUST a number

Nah you're not lame for that because that is what you chose to do. The same way that people who are 30 and don't kids aren't lame or immature cuz they hit the scene. Not everyone wants to be 30 with kids.

The only difference between my mid thirties and my mid twenties is more money and harsher hangovers. The idea of having kids in this world scares me. Let the party continue.

:dj2:

Why people keep bringing babies into this shyt hole we call earth is something I can't understand. Especially if they are struggling there damn self.

Because society keeps telling them that that's what they should be doing, meanwhile society hasn't even addressed poverty, education (and thus employment) opportunities, sexism, racism, etc.

My homie just texted me last Friday that he's having a kid. Now he's not married to his girl or anything but he has his own business and is doing pretty decent from what I understand. Also he's always wanted to start his own family and such so I'm like you know what I'm happy for you.

But there's the other side to this: almost all my other friends who have kids are constantly lamenting to me that I should wait as long as possible to have kids and that having kids is hell and that marriage is tough.

And I'm like...WTF...you ain't gotta tell me :skip:

I would think it very very cruel for me to bring a child into this world right now. I'm just NOW getting to the point where I'm enjoying life and being able to reap the benefits of my hard work. Why the fukk would I want a kid? Your life is effectively over at that point. When that shyt happens you need to start living for the child and not yourself. All your time and money goes towards making the childs life better than the one you had. Which is a noble endeavor but why do that right now? I want to travel and experience places and things. It cost on average like $200,000 to raise a child from birth to college and that's with insurance, public school, not dressing the kid in the latest and greatest, etc.

Chill breh..I'm 30 and I'm taking my time.

It's all perspective though really. NOthing wrong with what you're doing, or anyone like you is doing. Live your life. I have kids, love them to death. Same thing with the wifey. I get enjoyment out of doing things with them and for them. Watching my kids choke the shyt out of eachother at BJJ class is a highlight of my week. Driving out to the mountains with everyone in the car is what I live for. I don't think marriage sucks. I don't think kids suck. But again, that's just me and theirs nothing wrong with NOT feeling this way.

As a side note. There hasn't been a better time in history to bring kids into this world.

IDK how someone can sit in the house every weekend

I know a couple of people like this that are stuck in the "tweenlight zone" .

They never grew up and it shows.
