I'm not saying that. You just can't post those numbers ceritus peribus and come to a conclusion.

I guess I should remove the smiley, but i really wanna know who people would pick. Like its not rhetorical.

To me, I would take Bridgewater or Manziel its basically a wash between the two. And since Manziel played against SEC defenses he could get the edge and I wouldnt object.

As a personal preference I would only draft a qb if he was a hall of famer

Teddy's stats look good, but this is who he played against, while some of those other guys played against SEC defenses every week.

The whole "SEC defenses" myth got exposed in grand fashion this year....the media won't admit to it, cause the SEC is still big money, but we all saw it..

Even when you bring up all the actual factuals ( like total yards per game given up) and see that 5 SEC teams rank in the top 25 (compared to the 4 of the ACC and 4 in the AAC).... they'll say some shyt like " Well they don't play in the SEC" like that really means something in 2014.

SEC defenses a lie just like the devil.

My Pops Forever RIP
To a lesser extent the same thing is happening to Eric Ebron. All I've been hearing about him lately, and from Bill Polian just now on ESPN2, is that he's not mature enough and has character issues. Idk where this is coming from :mindblown: This guy was a great teammate to everyone at UNC, never had any problems, got into trouble, anything like that. He was a team leader, he played hurt, and hell he even played defensive end some when he had to.

This is what happens when you have such a long break between the combine/pro days and the draft....they find something to harp on, whether true or not, and just run with it.

If this means Ebron slides to a good offense, I'll be happy. And if this means Bridgewater falls to the Browns at 26, I'll be fukkin ecstatic.
I read some of that stuff right after the season ended which is why i don't want him as a Jet.

All this Bridgewater talk just makes me more upset we took Geno last year. I wanted to throw away last year, get the #1 pick to take Teddy, we do just enough to scrape together 8 wins, now Teddy could EASILY be there at 18 and we'll pass on him because of Geno and Vick.

God don't love me :to:

Word is the Patriots might be targeting Teddy at the end of the 1st round/early 2nd.
