Was expecting kick push :yeshrug:

Yeah instantly thought of Rockstar. Vans (the song) is what put the Pack on, not Skateboarding in general.

Edit: I also wan to add, Steve Martin gave the song the :salute:'in Bringing Down the House when he was at the Club trying to save Charlene & was rapping it. It's not on YouTube tho :beli:

I used to watch the Rangers videos on YouTube and practice. I remember one time we was at church and some kid was like "bet I could jerk better than you :jawalrus:" we bust out the usb MP3 players and proceeded to having a dance battle in front of the girls and they would vote for the winner.

Once I hit the pin drop, spun then hit the moonwalk right after, it was over :takedat:
I tried to do the pindrop one time, I did the twirl and dip but I couldn't get back up :flabbynsick::deadmanny: I said fukk this shyt and gave up.

It was cool in the sense of it brought kids together to have a dance circle like they did in the 80's-90's. Jerkers had all the bytches, that I will admit, for some reason. Especially the ones that had yellow skinny jeans on with a random ass blonde patch in they head. I was tight that they were bagging all the shorties I wanted :mjcry:

This song and kick push came out around the same time. But Skating was slowly becoming more popular with black dudes regardless.

People always mention Pharrell, but he aint influence anything as far as more brothas getting into skating.
