I have to do a house at my family's traditional home. It's our culture. Theres a spot on our land I gotta build my initial spot. And then build another outside as the eldest son and leave my younger brother on premise with his spot plus taking over my mom's spot when she passes. All this within 30 mins of where I have a house already.... but it's my tribes culture. I have to build... And it won't be my permanent because I need another long term crib elsewhere off the compound as per tradition as well.
I've been asking my architect friends what makes more sense. This or brick...pricing wise.. cause afterwards it'll be a guesthouse. I'm

right now at these expenses and the mechanics of our of culture but I see what they safeguard. My mother's house is a five bedroom mansion. Almost everything ensuite. Then there's the three bedroom house besides it that was our old country home. And still mine gotta go up. My bros gotta go up..and in the land next to it another one of mine gotta go up...
The 5 acre land that's been set off for me I just don't feel. It's right by our spot.. same fence.. but. We got something else by the lake and on the hill overlooking the lake and city.
But just like
@Pseudonym my mother has this inordinate love for me from knowing me since childhood. I'll do my part and tell her what ideally I'm hoping for. Already gave up my career to support her..
