Spin around in the kitchen and hit your head on the staircase. :patrice:
I don't think I've any children in any of these videos. It's all singles and childless couples. I'd imagine raising a child or 2 or 3 would be very challenging. :patrice:

Starter apartment bruh. How many people living check to check cause whatever they make goes straight out. Low key these trailer home people smart. Houses shouldn't be this expensive.

I have to do a house at my family's traditional home. It's our culture. Theres a spot on our land I gotta build my initial spot. And then build another outside as the eldest son and leave my younger brother on premise with his spot plus taking over my mom's spot when she passes. All this within 30 mins of where I have a house already.... but it's my tribes culture. I have to build... And it won't be my permanent because I need another long term crib elsewhere off the compound as per tradition as well.

I've been asking my architect friends what makes more sense. This or brick...pricing wise.. cause afterwards it'll be a guesthouse. I'm :unimpressed: right now at these expenses and the mechanics of our of culture but I see what they safeguard. My mother's house is a five bedroom mansion. Almost everything ensuite. Then there's the three bedroom house besides it that was our old country home. And still mine gotta go up. My bros gotta go up..and in the land next to it another one of mine gotta go up...
The 5 acre land that's been set off for me I just don't feel. It's right by our spot.. same fence.. but. We got something else by the lake and on the hill overlooking the lake and city.

But just like @Pseudonym my mother has this inordinate love for me from knowing me since childhood. I'll do my part and tell her what ideally I'm hoping for. Already gave up my career to support her..

Houses in the states are over priced. Doing something like this can save so much money. Even if you did it now it could bring in income before it becomes his.

This looks like it was made with two shipping containers at most. And the going price for one is maybe 3000 dollars.

When you look at how much the rent is currently being paid you see your market has artificially inflated housing costs cause you could just make this shyt yourself. A 40 ft container is 1200 to 4k. Get two of them and put work in and never have to worry about rent or a mortgage.

It's not really the houses in the states, but that land

We have an acre already but hubby is the only one working and I wouldn’t want to take on a project without his help, he’s way too busy

the acre is about 15 minutes away so the kid will just have to get a gas efficient car

gotcha. I need to look more into this stuff. Could build a neighborhood for the cost of a crib

:whoo: Interesting idea. Get some family together , buy some acres and make your own family village.

Logistically speaking, “where” can I build one of these? I have to own the land beneath it right? I can’t just plop one down anywhere. And if I’m buying the land, why not build a “real” house?
