Why it’s never said dame was making decisions without telling the other 2Def Jam got in Jigga's ear and told him he didn't need Dame
But Dame was the one putting on for the Roc when no one believed in the vision
Dame fought for the deals, Dame was battling label execs for proper resource allocation, Dame was the brains behind the actual business
Jigga was an artist and a decision-maker but Dame was overseeing the day to day...Biggs was just a figurehead
Fck Kev Lyles, Lyor Cohen and the rest of them for breaking up the Rocafella dynasty

Even the black keys sued dame
Story is old and bullshyt. Dame fukked Biggs over after Rocafella. Then fukked over people who rocked with him @ DD172 or whatever his gallery curated creative outlet space was.
He lost everyone for a reason. You can't be a real logical human looking at that and conclude that other people are the reason for his demise. This goof was running around telling people saving is stupid blow your money. This forum could go back far enough to when Dame was a hero and the peoples champ. The facade fell apart like his grill. The fanbase got quiet. Retreading those old narratives now is useless. Dude had ample time to reinvent himself, "make another hov" and show he was sabotaged. He didn't. The end
That’s what people keep not wanting to admitI remember watching Backstage at the theater. One scene I’ll never forget was Dame humiliating Kevin Liles. Kevin didn’t do anything but take the abuse and look down at his shoes.
Now I didn’t know anything about business or their relationship, I just remember feeling sorry for Kevin and thinking that I would never let someone talk to me like that.
I mean it was bad enough in real time, I can’t imagine how humiliating it was for Liles and Def Jam when Dame released the movie. They probably vowed to take him down after that.
