This was so ahead of its time, imagine if Nas dropped this today

I see what you’re saying, but if anything it shows how fukked up America is, because regardless of the time period, racism, white supremacy, civil rights violations, etc etc is always occurring. It’s just that not because if social media we can see it more easily, but this shyts always been going on.

But yes, very underrated album, into song I didn’t like was Make the world go round with Game and Chris Brown. He should have gotten Letter to the King for this album and given Game the chris Brown joint.

Dope album. This is one thing that's been lost in this generations rap... The newer artists are obviously more commercialized and don't really use their platform to talk about inequalities.

He should've gotten more support from his fans/america with the restrictions against the name of the album

His most overlooked and underappreciated album. I can't even think of another song he's recorded that sounds like "Sly Fox." This album has a real distinct, unique sound that separates it from other Nas projects.

I think "Make the World Go Round" is on there just to keep things from being too heavy. A song to help the album not feel too preachy. "Proclamation" should have been the opening track and "Who Are You" definitely should have been on there.

These white boys think structural racism and police assassinations is correlated with the amount of videos on social media

A lot of black rappers were c00ns when this dropped 12 years ago in the Summer of 2008.

Even today, people on The Coli pretend this album never existed.
