Jews have leverage because they have finances that they use to buy politicians. Regular white people don’t give a fukk about them. Jews stay in tight knit communities and share their wealth and they’re able to do that because the government leaves them alone. Our government literally helped create a country for them based off some European beef that had nothing to do with Americans. We as black people don’t have the same access to wealth and when we’ve tried to group up to build it those groups have been infiltrated and destroyed over and over again. The Black community in the US has never had access to wealth EVER and have been under siege forever HOWEVER the behaviors of those Black people post-Reconstruction and during Jim Crow segregation was still on some get an education, get married, have a STABLE household with dual income and support so children can be raised in the right environment and add value to the community DESPITE operating under a system of white supremacy.

You have to do the simple things and controllable things in life right in order to take on the more challenging things in life. If the constant form of entertainment (replayed all over again) is about how you kill "nikkas" (which is supposed to be a term of endearment according to some ppl but I digress) , fukk hoes and other destructive messages in the micro level, then you have no shot at tackling the macro issues such as wealth inequality and systemic challenges. If you cannot pick the right partner in life who is not going to leave you and force you to raise a child/children by yourself, then how are you going to take on the larger challenges. These things are controllable as individuals.

That's why folks are attacking destructive entertainers with destructive messages because it is extremely harmful to impressionable minds and the culture overall. Am I saying that if Mos Def and Talib were on the radio 24/7 and was the only form of entertainment consumption, white supremacy would be over? Of course not but the reduction and elimination of destructive violent forms of "entertainment"definitely adds value to the community.

Your daily behavior and how you interact with other people matter and that's why ppl talk about vibes/energy. Just because you cannot see a direct correlation with constantly using a demeaning term and economic prosperity does not mean that the usage of that term does not have negative effects on our interactions and how we treat each other. I do not know about you but I am not in the business of demeaning and denigrating other people (especially those who look like me) even if I do not see a correlation to access to wealth

One of the brothers on here made a thread suggesting that we stop calling ourselves n*ggers and it was a whole bunch of nonsense about spellings of the word and terms of endearment. Even here on the coli we see the word being thrown around in ways indistinguishable from its use as a racial epithet.

Black people don't want to let it go because too many of us believe that it's the only thing we can say without consequence that white people can't.
