“Women walking around naked are to blame” :picard:

dude really just casually said that shyt.

On camera. In front of people

Wow

They share blame although its like 10%, its unfortunate but its true. You can't walk around naked around a bunch of drugged up and drunk teenagers and expect to be unbothered

Edit: blame is too strong of a word, moreso bad situational awareness

Also the concert promoter John Scher is a piece of shyt. Dude justifies the poor planning, poor security and charging $4 for water while blaming Limp Bizkit for everything

rolling loud was selling it for $5 but they had free water fill ups :yeshrug:

Dope doc but Man there’s no way in hell lol. I’ve only been to a festival like three times when I was younger and it wasn’t for me. Too many people on each other, no assigned seating :flabbynsick: and having to deal with the elements? Nah I’m good. And these were super small compared to shyt like Woodstock and the modern ones of today. Those cacs are crazy man spending the night in tents, rolling in other people’s doo doo :picard: the odors had to be ungodly. The dude who died :snoop: I knew it was coming because they never had him talking.

not gonna lie the main takeaway is that i need to bump some limp biz kit for nostalgias sake :ehh:

The crowd was the typical WCW Nitro/WWF RAW audience. Wasn't no hippie liberal generation. It was the birth of white incels, mass shooters, and of course the eternal frat pricks. The groping was acceptable not to excuse it but the hoes knew what they were in for.

Nu Metal was basically what Trap music is to rap now.

You have the few talented acts [Deftones, System of a Down, Korn] that came out of it but then you get a bunch of garbage no talent acts that follow a formula until it becomes a parody of itself.

They really gotta stop lumping Deftones in with nu-metal, they were far beyond that, even then.

You couldn’t PAY me to show up to en event like that. All those people, and the noise, and heat, and being dirty, and people being drunk, and everything is messy, and no real showers or bathrooms, and people breaking stuff, and fires

The lost and found shyt was another thing that was downright scary. Imagine you lose ya girl or friends in that mass of people, with NO cell phone.

I saw somewhere (might've been this thread) where Woodstock 99 was compared to Fyre Festival, only the artists actually showed up at Woodstock lol. But at least people could leave Woodstock. That's what tripped me out, people aint wanna leave early after experiencing all that fukkery? Ain't like they were trapped on the base

And you're in upstate NY in the middle of nowhere in a town no one's heard of before. The entire weekend could've been disastrous.

Just hearing this shyt bring back so many memories. Loved me some Korn. Hated LB. Made me think of the Gorillas too. They was dope I don't think they got enough credit. Just getting home from school, and watching TRL, the basement, 106 and Park. :blessed: Life was so much simpler.

A younger female friend of mine still be trying to convince me to hit the festivals up. Even the best ones don't sound fun to me. I'm too used to comfort. I ain't trying to be packed in with that many people for 2-3 days straight. I party harder than damn near everybody but I got a routine to prevent getting all hungover or feeling like shyt. Plus if I found something to get into I want to have a bed to take her back to lol.

How did the Red Hot Chili Peppers avoid any blame? The fires seemed worse than whatever LB had going on the fast before. That was also the day the crowd started looting and the cops showed up
Because it's cool to shyt on LB now

Rage performed after them & even lit an American flag on fire

@ 4:26

Maybe they kinda sparked the idea of the fires
