Thor is far more powerful.
But I'm a bigger fan of Storm.

storm moves weather from one location to another. Base human stats. Thor creates any weather he wants and is damn near the most powerful non-cosmic in Marvel U at any given time. Hell, the only thing that keeps him from being "cosmic" is the fact that he's not always in space.

This is a guy who would best Thanos with ease.
That's why I give props to Kevin Grevioux (the black dude that played the leader of the Lycans in underworld).
He is the one behind the creation of Blue Marvel.
The writers behind "Icon" are black and in a comic where he fought Superman, it was tied.
Todd McFarland is the only non black guy to create a powerful black man in Spawn.
Black Panther is extremely underrated. He could probably match Dr. Doom in intellect and power. I love the King of the dead upgrade and when he became the leader of the ultimates with Blue Marvel, Photon, Galactus, Ronin and Spiderman.

Don't ask me how. And no it doesn't make sense to me either other than Thor being a white embodiment of white mastubatory power circle jerk writing.
Then again they are Gods. Hell Thor's daddy is actually a big ass deal too.
But on an off note---my friend and I were talking about how there are so many characters that a lot of new fans underrate in the Marvel Universe.
Storm is DEFINITELY one of them. So is Gambit.
Scarlet Witch too.
Meanwhile, to be really real, Dr. Strange could easily defeat Thor and I don't even know why the rest of the Avengers were even needed in the Thanos fight when they already had so many heavy hitters.
(Strange Tales were my favorites growing up...so I might be biased...).

Thoughts on Monica Rambeau? (M)I hate to say this but Thor is taking this easily. Storm is extremely powerful, but so is Thor. The main difference is that Thor could dish it out and take it, but Storm doesn't have enough durability.
This battle would've been closer if you chose Blue Marvel instead of Storm because he's strong both offensively and defensively. He can possibly vaporize Thor with his anti-matter powers.
One thing I did notice is that both Marvel and DC don't have an extremely powerful black Superhero like Franklin Richards (M) or Michael Demiurgos(DC)---both can warp all reality and destroy universes---.
The strongest black superheroes of both those companies would be easily beaten by the strongest white heroes and it ain't even close.
